I was saddened to read online tonight in Calinfornia, about the Whangarei restaurant which lost its rooftop Santa. That merely confirmed my thoughts today when I snapped these beautiful outdoor Christmas trees in lovely Solvang, CA that "We couldn't do this at home as they'd be destroyed or stolen overnight!" At least 50 decorative trees lined the main streets yet NZers think crime or vandalism is worse in the USA.
