Rugby: Ranger returns for another tilt
Northland rugby players Rene Ranger and Justin Davies will be back in blue for the 2013 season.
The Northland Rugby Union's Facebook page has announced Ranger is contracted for 2013 and Davies for 2013/2014.
Other players contracted for the 2013 season are: Bryce Williams, Cam Goodhue, David Morgan, Jack Ram, Mateo Malupo, Matt Wallis, Matt Wright, Ross Wright and William Whetton.
The announcement caused a minor conniption for one fan, who interpreted the "re-signing" of the players as a resignation. The grammatical confusion was quickly realised, with the fan expressing relief they players are staying, rather than leaving.
