The Public Trust moved back into its offices at 92 Bank St earlier this week following completion of seismic strengthening work. The Whangarei branch moved to 127 Bank St six months ago.

The Whangarei investment group which owns the building declined to comment at the time but the Public Trust's head of marketing and communication, Brent Woodhead, said the organisation was reviewing its property portfolio nationwide.

He said any report and/or details of the Public Trust's lease arrangements with the owners would not be disclosed, citing sections 9(2)(b)(ii) and 9(2)(j) of the Official Information Act 1982.
