Popular markets for summer
The Artisans Fair on the Victoria Canopy Bridge at the Town Basin will begin tomorrow leading up to a massive Christmas market on December 22.
Kaari Schlebach market coordinator said the event will feature lots of artisans and craftspeople from across Northland.
"We are also welcoming nearly 10 stalls from Matakana for our opening," she said.
Held every Saturday over the summer, the markets reflect the rich culture of Northland with stalls featuring crafts, clothing, art works, jewellery, ceramics, gourmet food items and much more. There will also be all-day entertainment from local performing artists.
The market is opening at 9am and will run until at 1.30pm.
