A West Auckland pair missing since the beginning of November may be hiding in Hokianga.

Police believe a missing West Auckland mother and her 3-year-old daughter may be visiting extended family in Hokianga.

Toni Reihana, aged 41, and her daughter Keyana Reihana have not been in contact with law enforcement agencies since the beginning of November.

Ms Reihana is described as Maori, 162cm tall, and of slim to medium build.

Keyana is Maori with fair complexion and brown hair.

Police believe Ms Reihana may be in hiding in West Auckland or visiting extended family in the Hokianga region.

"There is increasing concern for her welfare and the well-being of her daughter. Multiple enquiries have failed to locate the pair," Waitemata police spokesman Kevin Loughlin said.

Police are urgently seeking their whereabouts and ask anyone who has knowledge of any recent movements or sightings to contact Constable Alison Wilson at Henderson police on 09 839 0608 or call Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
