A 65-year-old man was injured after hurt by a stingray in Northland this morning.
A 65-year-old man was injured after hurt by a stingray in Northland this morning.

A 65-year-old man was injured by a stingray at Northland's Karikari Peninsula this morning.

Emergency services rushed to Tokerau Beach after receiving calls that the man had been hit by a barb about 9.15am.

St John Ambulance, the Mangonui Fire Brigade and police were responding to the calls.
