Kerikeri St John boss Nick Scott loves Smashing Pumpkins (video)
Kerikeri St John boss Nick Scott has revealed one of his other talents after a video of the paramedic playing a cover of a Smashing Pumpkins song was selected as "video of the week" on the American band's official fan site.
The self-recorded video shows him in his living room playing an acoustic version of the song 1979 from the album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.
Mr Scott, who also plays regular gigs at the Pear Tree Restaurant and the Bay of Islands Farmers Market, assures Kerikeri residents he has no plans to trade his St John role for a musical career.
