Holiday (temporary) stops
If you wish to temporarily suspend your home deliveries, please phone the Customer Contact Centre on 09 470 2813. You will receive a credit / extension for the days you don't have The Northern Advocate delivered.
Donate your holiday (temporary) stops to NiE
Donate your holiday newspapers to our Newspapers in Education (NiE) programme and support your local schools! Every newspaper you donate to the NiE programme, the Northern Advocate will match this contribution with another newspaper. There is no extra charge for this community service.
Undelivered, damaged or wet papers
If your newspaper is damaged, wet or has not been delivered by 5.00pm, give the Customer Contact Centre a call on 09 470 2813 / 0800 652 399 (press1, 4, 3) before 6.00pm, and we will re-deliver your paper or give you a credit / extension on your account. If damaged or wet papers are an ongoing problem please let us know. Note: redeliveries are not available to our rural subscribers
Moving house
Inform us of your change of address and we will arrange for your Northern Advocate subscription to move with you. Allow two working days for processing.
Gift Subscriptions
A newspaper gift subscription is a great present. You can gift a subscription to start on a date you choose and we will provide you with a gift voucher to present to the recipient.
Back Copies
We keep a limited number of editions from the last 12 months, so if you need to get hold a back issue just give our Customer Contact Centre a call on 09 470 2813.
SUBSCRIPTION PAYMENTS MADE EASY
Account payments can be made by cash, cheque, EFTPOS, Mastercard, Visa, at our local branch or posted to the address on your invoice.
Automated Credit Card Payment
We can charge your credit card automatically each time your subscription falls due. Your credit card details are immediately encrypted for your protection. Setting up payments is an easy as picking up the phone.
Direct Credit
Set up an easy online payment. Our details are: National Bank Account Number 06-0287-0590510-12. Include your Northern Advocate subscription account number in the reference field.
Direct Debit
